Rose - Receptionist & Vet Technician Welcoming back a QHAH favorite Rose was such a nice surprise. Rose comes from many years in the hospitality industry which shines through in her customer service, not only that but she's picking up new skills assisting Dr. P in the rooms, the lab, pharmacy, surgery and x-ray.  We're so lucky to have her back!  Rose has 2 beautiful children Emily and Jeffrey & a fish named Stanley.

Julianne - Technician Assistant Hi my name is Julianne, A.K.A Jules! I'm currently attending Mount Ida College where I'm pursuing my Bachelor's Degree in Veterinary Technology. I've had a fascination with animals of all kinds for as long as I can remember. In fact, when I was in Kindergarten, I created a time capsule that contained my future dreams. I wasn't allowed to open it until I was in high school, and when I did, I was ecstatic to see I had written I wanted to become a vet. This reassured me that I was making the right decision to continue my passion for animals as well as educating others. On my down time, I enjoy being with family, friends, my dog Scooby, and going to the local shelter to see what creature I can adopt next. I also love taking pictures and would like to start a dog photography blog as a fun hobby!

Katie - Receptionist  Katie has over 30 years in the hospitality industry which is evident in her supurb customer service skills.  We are so lucky to have her join our staff, you will always find her smiling, helpful, funny and gracious.  Katie loves this new position and learns something new every day!  Katie has a certain fondness for beagles and recently adopted a southern gentleman from Louisana the family named Duke.  When not working Katie loves to travel with her husband and their 4 beautiful children.

Ally is passionate about rescue animals and doing anything she can to help out those animals in need. She shares her home with Ella-a black lab, Emmy-a pointer mix and Reese her newly rescued Kitty. In her spare time she enjoys bringing her dogs to Bare cove, hiking, being by the ocean and spending time with friends and family.

Miriam - Receptionist & Vet Tech- Hello, my name is Miriam! I've been an animal lover my whole life. I have a 11 y/o Miniature Pinscher named Rocko, a 11 y/o gray tabby cat named Gunner and a 6 y/o brown Maine Coon mixed cat named Cleopatra. I've owned a wide variety of animals including hamsters, gerbils, mice, rats, rabbits, cats, dogs and fish.

My background with working animals began when I was 19 years old as a bathe and brusher for a grooming salon. I was quickly promoted to a groomer and I groomed both cats and dogs. I went to Mount Ida College for veterinary technology and started working at a veterinary hospital. I started out as a receptionist and then I took on the role of a veterinary technician.

I currently work full-time at a school. I enjoy working at Quarry Hills Animals on Saturdays and assisting both people and their pets. Everyone here treats animals, and their owners, with kindness and respect. I also volunteer at the Quincy Animal Shelter for the cat care team.

Gerry - AP/AR Gerry is QHAH's 'bookie'. Taxes, direct deposit, daily accounting, tracking down rebates: if it has to do with bookkeeping she does it. Gerry balances the books and keeps all of our vendors happy. You may see her from time to time sitting behind the desk to help answer phones and wait on customers, while this is not her area of expertise she will certainly make sure that your message gets addressed and replied to in a timely manner. We appreciate the extra help she's able to provide during some of our most busy days. P.S. Gerry is Dr Paulauski and Jennifer's mother.
